After months of admiring this product on Pinterest, I finally purchased NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp. I’m really, really enjoying it so far. The color is a bright, coral-y pink! As the name suggests, the texture is soft, velvety and has a matte finish. It almost reminds me of a liquid lipstick because of the richness. Like any matte product, I would suggest applying lip balm before so your lips won’t dry out. I am eager to try more colors–it is high-quality while still being affordable. If there was one thing I could change about this, it would be the staying power. I wish it stayed on my lips a little longer so I wouldn’t have to reapply as often. However, the applicator dispenses just the right amount of product so you don’t make a mess! 🙂

I was so excited at Sephora the other day when I received this Elizabeth + James Nirvana White Eau de Parfum Rollerball Mini for free with my Beauty Insider Points! This fragrance is suitable for summer, or any other season! It has a fresh, floral base with a hint of spice and musk at the end. I am really enjoying it! Plus, the small bottle is just so cute and easy to travel with. I recommend this fragrance; it’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s exotic yet wearable !

This month I have been enjoying Kelsea Ballerini‘s new album called The First Time. I am so excited to say that I went to school with Kelsea for a year before she got famous! Every time I hear her on the radio or see her on TV, I think to myself, “Oh my goodness Lyndi! You went to college with a celebrity!” Hahaha, This album is filled with bubbly country-pop tunes that are fun to sing in the car. The lyrics are fun, well-crafted and relatable.  My favorites include “XO,” “Sirens” and “Stilettos.” This album is definitely worth a buy. I hope Kelsea makes it big!

A couple weeks ago, my dad and I decided to go see Woman in Gold because I’m a huge history buff and this seemed like a good choice. Needless to say, we were not disappointed. Woman in Gold is without a doubt my FAVORITE movie that I have seen at the theatre all year! It is a true story about an elderly woman and a lawyer who attempt to get a painting that belonged to her aunt during WWII, but was taken by the Nazis and later owned by the Austrian government. I don’t want to say too much, but TRUST me, it’s worth a see! I can’t wait to buy it when it comes out on DVD.

So there ya have it, my favorite things for May 2015! Hope you enjoyed reading this post.

Have a fabulous day!
