Let’s talk terracotta makeup: eyes, cheeks and lips

My love for terracotta-hued makeup began when Kat Von D released her famous Lolita Everlasting Liquid Lipstick a decade or so ago! I loved reserving the rosy, orange-ish gold color to warm up my complexion during the winter. However, I’ve started to use my favorite terracotta makeup during the warmer months as well to give me a sun-kissed glow. Here are a few items I’ve been reaching for lately:

MAC's Powder blush in Gingerly.

The most user-friendly blush of the bunch, MAC’s Powder Blush in Gingerly is a product I’ve kept coming back to for years and years. This soft peachy-ginger shade is a nice departure from a traditional pink cheek. It applies pretty sheerly, so you don’t have to worry about overdoing it! Gingerly goes with so many different makeup looks, and gives you that natural sun-kissed look without any shimmer. Highly recommend purchasing this one if you haven’t already.

Colourpop SuperShock Cheek -- a cream blush with a warm terracotta hue.

I love multitasking makeup, don’t you? The ColourPop SuperShock Cheek in Bardot is a perfect example of a true terracotta blush. The right balance of red, orange and a little bit of copper. I have used this on my eyes and cheeks. A little goes a long way — the finish is slightly shimmery and metallic. The texture is very creamy, yet easy to work with. Bardot would be great to travel with as well. A couple swipes on your eyes and cheeks — and you’re ready to shine. Make sure you secure the lid of this blush on tightly so it doesn’t dry out quickly and get crumbly!

There’s a little more of a learning curve to the elf Camo Liquid Blush in Bronze Bombshell, but the end result is gorgeous! The texture is a mix between a liquid and a cream blush — very concentrated. In the sun, terracotta-hued Bronze Bombshell has a fine, golden pearl shimmer with a satin finish.

I place a SMALL dot of the blush on my cheeks directly from the applicator (this prevents the blush from streaking) and then quickly blend out with a dense blush brush. It doesn’t dry down immediately, so you have a little time to work with it. Warm, rosy cheeks for summer — yes please!

It wouldn’t be a proper beauty blog post without me including a lip product! 😉 The NYX Duck Plump Gloss in Brick Of Time is the perfect everyday, rosy-terracotta shade. This gloss does not hold out on pigmentation; it has the pigment of a lipstick with the easy application of a gloss. Like the Mauve Bite gloss I mentioned in my April Favorites blog post, Brick Of Time has an intense, spicy taste and texture. If that doesn’t bother you, you’re going to LOVE this. Excited to try more shades!

The Most Comfortable Lip Products at the Drugstore

Would you believe that some of my most favorite and most comfortable lip products I own are from the drugstore? You no longer have to spend a pretty penny on quality, pigmented lip products. In these dark and chilly months, I love to play with pops of color in my makeup routine — well okay, I love pops of color in every season! 😉 These three lip products deliver.

Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oils, shown in the shades Cherry Lime (on top) and Blackberry Agave (bottom).

Lip Oils are definitely popular at the moment in the beauty space! My favorite at the moment are the Milani Fruit Fetish Lip Oils. I own the shades Cherry Lime and Blackberry Agave.

While pigmentation is on the sheer side, you can build these oils up to however bold you want. They have a smooth and glossy base, so they don’t feel the least bit greasy or sticky. Cherry Lime is a classic, sheer cherry red. Blackberry Agave looks less berry on me, and more like a terracotta nude. Still stunning! The chunky doe-foot applicator dispenses just the right amount of product. The packaging is chic and sturdy, and each flavor tastes yummy, too! I can’t wait to try more shades.

Milani Color Fetish Hydrating Lip Oils. shown in the shades Mahogany Mami and Rose Rising on bottom.

The word “plush” doesn’t seem like it would be used to describe a lip stain, but the Color Fetish Hydrating Lip Stains from Milani fit that bill! I cannot believe such an innovative lip product is at the drugstore. I am absolutely loving the shades Mahogany Mami, a red-berry shade; and Rose Rising, a darker but wearable plum-pink.

The texture is so unique — it’s inky but creamy, while delivering the perfect amount of pigment. No need to worry about making a mess with these; the applicator has a flat center with a pointed tip, making it easy to control! It stays on strong for a couple of hours, then leaves behind a pretty wash of color. Reapplying is no sweat — I barely have to use a mirror. Bonus: these lip stains taste like cake batter.

Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Rust, a rusty-coral shade with gold pearl finish.

If you are a traditional lip gloss fan, you NEED to own the Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Rust. I remember buying this last winter, then it got lost in my makeup drawer. After finding it, I applied and realized just how stunning this rusty coral shade is. It’s the perfect balance of a traditional red with a drop of rust and coral, finishing with a pearly gold sheen. SWOON! It has enough pigment to be considered as a glossy liquid lipstick, in my opinion. The sweet vanilla flavor is the cherry on top.

Five Lip Colors I’ve Been Loving!

You can never have too many lip colors. It’s just a fact! Today I want to talk about five of them that have struck my fancy lately. Trust me…you NEED these!

They may be new to my makeup collection, but are here to stay. The best part? They are suitable for everyday wear.

Up first, we have the Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lip in Give A Fig. I’m usually not one to spend more than $20 on a lip product, but this one is so worth it. The formula is so whipped, creamy and light. Yet, it is so pigmented and gorgeous! I’d describe Give A Fig as a mid-toned pink with a slight coral undertone; like a slightly brighter version of your natural lip color. And, it really does brighten your complexion too. I bought this one on a whim, but I’m so glad I did. A+.

Fenty Beauty’s lip gloss formula is TO. DIE. FOR. There are a lot of (pretty good) dupes on the market, but there is nothing like the real thing. I received the Gloss Bomb Lip Luminizer in Ruby Milk as part of a holiday set, and this one is my favorite shade out of the four. Ruby Milk is a sheer cherry red. It reminds me of when you eat a red freeze pop, and a stain is left behind on your lips. But in a natural way! It’s just the slightest little pop of color. The formula is nourishing and so, so comfortable. I look forward to applying it each time.

Speaking of Fenty Beauty, I also recently tried the Gloss Bomb Cream in Cookie Jar. It is the exact same moisturizing and glossy formula, but with more pigment and no shimmer. Although Cookie Jar looks like a straight chocolate brown shade in the tube, it’s more of a tawny rose-brown on my lips. So pretty. If you’re a fan of more natural, earthy-toned lip colors, you HAVE to try Cookie Jar!

Story time: about six years ago, one of my most favorite lipsticks was the Maybelline Superstay formula in Ceaseless Caramel. It was the most perfect, chestnut rose. I truly didn’t have anything like it. But, sadly, about four or so years ago that lipstick line was discontinued. I was oh so sad. Ever since then, I have searched and searched for a dupe of Ceaseless Caramel, but had no luck. UNTIL now! And it was an unexpected find, really: the Flower Beauty Petal Pout Cream Lipstick in Chestnut Kiss.

I absolutely adore this shade. Online, the color description is “chocolate brown” but it definitely has that rosy, brick-y undertone that I’ve been searching for. It also has just the slightest bit of sparkle in it, but you totally don’t see that when you apply. It has the prettiest satin-like finish; not too matte or shiny. I’m probably going to buy a couple more of these just to have backup. Flower Beauty rocks!

If you’re looking for a serious, repairing lip balm, you have got to try the Bite Beauty Agave+ Intensive Lip Mask. It is an all-time favorite right now. The consistency is so unique; it’s really thick and sticky. You think, “How can such a sticky formula make my lips so soft?” But it does! And you need the least little bit. A couple weeks ago, my lips were super flaky and dry. My trusty Carmex Lip Balm wasn’t even helping, and I had a sample of this stuff. My lips were healed in just ONE night. I ran to Sephora to get a full size. This stuff is worth the money!

The Best Your Lips But Better Products | 2020 Edition

Fact: You can never have too many pink lip colors. It is the one shade that is universally flattering on every skin tone! Today, I thought I would share my favorite “Your Lips But Better” products at the moment. Get ready to hit “add to cart” on these simple yet stunning shades!

IMG_1315

Most lip liners look alike packaging-wise, but the formulas are NOT created equal. While I usually head to the drugstore to find a good liner, I can honestly tell you that the Haus Laboratories RIP Lip Liner in Ride is absolutely worth every penny. It looks quite brown in the pencil, but when you apply, it is the perfect natural pink. Not too brown or too bright. The best part about this formula is, it glides on so easily and is non-drying. In fact, I often wear it alone. It stays put for a long time and doesn’t bleed or travel. It is such a well-loved liner in my collection. I plan on re-purchasing!

IMG_1312

Once again I am bragging on another Flower Beauty Product. Just last week I picked up the Petal Pout Lip Color in Spiced Petal and can’t get enough. The formula is the smoothest, gel-cream texture. It reminds me of the Marc Jacobs lipsticks. Spiced Petal is a neutral pinky-nude. If you’ve always wanted to try a nude lipstick, I recommend Spiced Petal. It’s not too beige, so it won’t wash you out. Plus, it is sooo comfortable and hydrating. The packaging is durable and chic too. Will definitely be trying other shades in this range.

IMG_1311

If you do want to venture into the beige color family, I recommend the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine Lipstick in Glossy Fawn. This tawny nude is flattering; the formula is so lightweight that it allows your natural lip color to peak through. As advertised, the finish is very glossy and smooth. Absolutely no stickiness. It doesn’t have long staying power, so pair it with your favorite liner if you need it to last a while.

IMG_1314

The Haus Laboratories Le Riot Lip Gloss in Blaze is one of my favorite glosses ever! If you’re looking for an everyday pink–not nude–try this one! It is a warmer pink with a hint of a purple undertone. This formula doesn’t shy away from shine either with its patent leather-like texture. If you’re NOT a fan of tackiness, this gloss may not be for you. With that being said, Blaze does have more staying power than a typical moisturizing gloss. The doe-foot applicator allows just the right amount of product, and the packaging is pretty and has a nice weight to it. I love it!

Spring and Summer Makeup Preview

It might not be warm and bright weather-wise, but lately my makeup routine has reflected that!  I’ve been wearing a bright lip and shimmery lids like it’s the middle of summer. Here are some of the beauty items I’ll for sure be rocking when the weather (finally)! gets warm…

Shimmery + Smoky Eyes

IMG_1088

A deep, bronzy eyeshadow is absolutely gorgeous in the spring and summer. It is less intense than a black smokey eye, and this shade Rye has the prettiest micro-gold shimmer in it, along with a chocolatey-bronze base. I have long raved about the Haus Laboratories Glam Attack Shimmer Powders, and Rye is another hit from the brand. Since the shade is more intense than the lighter shades, it has more of an opaque pigmentation. I like to use it in my outer corners or as an eyeliner. The formula does dry quickly down into a powder, so you do have to work kind of fast when applying. I like to swatch it on my hand and then apply with my fingertips, then smudge it out with a brush. It is sooo pretty.

IMG_1091

While the Glam Attack Shimmer Powders have a thin, sheer base, the Haus Laboratories All Over Metallic Cremes have that classic, easy-to-work-with creamy texture. The shade Chains is a warm gold that pairs perfectly with Rye. I like to wear them together for the most unique molten look. The finish is pigmented and metallic, yet wearable for every day.

Bright, Coral-Toned Lips

IMG_1087

Honest Beauty has one of the most comfortable liquid lipstick formulas EVER! The shade Happiness just screams spring and summer. It has a melon-pink base, with a slight coral undertone. It’s so bright and cheery without being too intense. Happiness even pairs nicely with a bronzy smokey eye. Once the formula sets, it’s not the least bit drying, and has pretty impressive staying power.

IMG_1092

Although I love trying different lip formulas, my all-time favorite will forever be just a classic lipstick. Revlon has recently debuted a unique formula, the Super Lustrous Mattes. It has a thick yet comfortable non-drying texture. I’ve been loving the shade Getting Serious; it is the perfect cross between a red and a coral with a natural matte finish.

While the bullet is really saturated with color, it doesn’t smudge all over your lips when you apply it; even straight from the tube. Plus, it doesn’t make your lips feel crusty and dry. As long as you exfoliate in the morning, the formula will have a clean and smooth surface to adhere to. The packaging has a sturdy, matte feel to it. I normally don’t buy a ton of Revlon makeup, but this lipstick formula has me hooked! Definitely going to try more shades.

Champagne Highlighter

IMG_1090

The Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop was the first high-end highlighter I ever owned. Lately, I rediscovered how good this color and formula is. As the name suggests, it is the most flattering gold-champagne shade. While it has a shimmery, metallic finish, it’s not too intense or chunky. It just adds the perfect amount of radiance to your complexion. It’s one of the OG highlighters, but Champagne Pop should have a spot in everyone’s makeup collection! It truly is universally flattering.

I Found THE BEST Drugstore Lipstick

I feel like we are constantly on the hunt for the perfect drugstore lipstick. We are always trying to find the right color and formula that fits best with our lifestyle. A comfortable formula and a shade that you could wear with any outfit, to any occasion. Functional. Easy to apply. Well, do I have some good news…

I have found THE BEST drugstore lipstick.
And it checks ALL the boxes.
So let’s talk about it!

IMG-3959.JPG

A couple years ago, Maybelline released the Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks. I am still crazy about those; and I even wrote an entire blog post about how much I love them. Recently, they released the Super Stay Ink Crayon — basically a solidified version of the liquid lipsticks. To be honest,  I think I love these even more!

The formula is so perfect. I would describe these crayons as a cross between a lip liner and a lipstick. In fact, Maybelline suggests you line your lips first and then fill them in. This product has the creaminess of a lipstick, combined with the slight balminess and staying power of a lip liner.

IMG-3961

Since the bullet is slimmer than a traditional lipstick, application is mess-free and easy. No need to worry about it sliding all over your lips. The finish is the perfect demi-matte. Not super drying or too shiny. For best results, make sure you apply to clean, dry lips –like after you brush your teeth. I would also wait maybe 30 minutes before you eat or drink, just to give the color a chance to set!

I have three shades so far, but want to collect ALL the colors:

IMG-3963

{from top}

Enjoy The View – an everyday, mid-toned pink
Live On The Edge – a brownish terra cotta with a slight blush undertone {MY FAVORITE}
Own Your Empire – A classic, bright retro red {thought this one would be more berry-toned but it’s still pretty}

These lipsticks are definitely worth checking out! Everything is just about perfect. There’s even a built-in sharpener, so you can keep the point nice and fresh. They won’t stay completely on all day long, but they do leave a nice wash of color.  It is so easy to touch up, though.

All-in-all, these lipsticks are comfortable, quality and affordable. What more can you ask for?!

They retail for around $10 at the drugstore.

FALL Makeup Kit | 2018

I may not be the biggest fan of chilly fall weather, but I AM a fan of the makeup I get to wear when the leaves start to fall! I don’t think theres anything prettier than a rosy lip and cheek this time of year. So today, I’m going to share with y’all some beauty items I’m loving right now for fall.

IMG-2853

I first raved about the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream four years ago. I was faithful to it for a year or so, and then I moved onto a new favorite. Over the summer, I decided to give it a try again–and forgot how much I LOVE this stuff! If you want perfect skin, this is your ticket. It is simply amazing. I choose to wear it alone, without foundation, but you can certainly mix it with your favorite for extra coverage.

The texture of this cream is SO light and airy; I don’t think there is a foundation as light as this one–yet it lasts and sits on my skin beautifully. And yes, it corrects redness like a DREAM. I’ve had my share of breakouts lately, and they practically disappear under this stuff. An Instagram filter for your face!

Best of all, a little goes a long way. I just set it with powder and I’m good to go. It has a nice, natural finish; not glow-y or matte. I know the price is a little steep, but trust me–it’s worth it! This cream is the answer to your clear skin prayers. {$32; ulta or qvc}

IMG-2855

This little trifecta of beauty items is the epitome of fall! Up first, we have the Becca Soleil Bronzer in Capri Coast. If you’ve read my blog for a while, you know that I am a HUGE fan of the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Capri Coast is just a slightly darker version with a touch of sheen. Don’t worry, no glitter is involved! It just gives me the most natural, non-orange glow. It goes on evenly and isn’t patchy at all. {$38; ulta or sephora}

The photo doesn’t do MAC Powder Blush in Gingerly justice, so I will link it so you can get a clearer picture. Needless to say, this is the perfect blush for fall! It may look a little “meh” in the pan, but it is the prettiest muted peach color. There’s a hint of bronze in there, without the shimmer. It gives my cheeks a very natural, warm flush. Gingerly is on the pigmented side, so you just have to use a light hand. Sweep gently from the apples of your cheeks to your temples, and you’ll have the prettiest wash of color. {$24; ulta or department stores}

I love a good highlight any season of the year; the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal has been a favorite of mine lately. I know it sounds strange, but Opal is natural and glitzy at the same time. The formula sits on my skin so smoothly that it’s not an unnatural-looking, blinding highlight. I’d describe Opal as being a white gold, pearly shade. It’s just beyond gorgeous and would look beautiful on any skin tone. {$38; ulta and sephora}

Lastly, we have the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick in Spanked. I bought this a few weeks ago, and I’ve been loving it! Spanked is a very natural, tawny rose shade. It’s a red lipstick for those of you who don’t like red lipstick. It looks like your lips but better. The finish is so unique; it’s soft and matte without the dryness. These lipsticks are small and compact, but have a creamy, high-quality product. I love the textured mirror finish! {$18; sephora}

One Color, Three Looks | CORAL

These days, there are so many lip color formulas to fit your lifestyle. Whether I’m feeling a bold lip or a sheer, natural one, I always have a shade and formula for my mood. So today, I thought I’d share with you all my THREE favorite CORAL lip colors!

S T A I N

IMG-2503

I just mentioned this item in my last blog post, but I figured it was worth another shout out! I received the Clarins Water Lip Stain in Red Water for free as part of a recent Influenster Campaign. While the bold, red-coral color intimidated me at first, I have really grown to like it! Red Water has a traditional fluid formula. While it applies quite vividly at first, once the water-like texture soaks into lips, it gives you a popsicle-like stain. I recommend exfoliating your lips before application; otherwise, it can get streaky! Need extra moisture? Just top with lip balm. Red Water has the prettiest, retro-inspired color. {$28; ulta}

L I P S T I C K

IMG-2504

Feeling adventurous? This next product isn’t for the faint of heart. When I first tried NYX Matte Lipstick in Indie Flick, I expected it to be a similar red-coral color–like Clarins Red Water. However, when I applied, it honestly looked traffic cone-orange on my lips! Oops. Thankfully, I made this bold, blood orange shade work for me!

What I like most about Indie Flick is the formula. While it has a matte finish, it is creamy…perfect for smooth application. However, it’s not so creamy that it slides all over your lips. It does a good job of staying put. I have found that Indie Flick looks best when you apply several layers while blotting with a tissue between each one. That way, you build up a subtle, wearable wash of color while still having that creaminess. This shade works best for medium to deep skin tones. It is a highly pigmented affordable option! The packaging is sturdy too.  {$6; ulta}

L I P S T I C K {but basically a balm}

IMG-2505

Still feeling like a bright coral lip isn’t for you? Well, I have something that might change your mind. MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Coral Bliss may be in bullet form, but it is an extremely wearable pink-coral balm. The texture is so light and creamy that it gives you the sheerest wash of color. I have to apply two to three coats to have it match my medium skin tone. You don’t even have to use a mirror! MAC’s lipsticks smell heavenly..like warm sugar cookies! {$18.50; most department stores}

Nude + Natural Lip Colors for SUMMER

I’ve mentioned on here countless times before that I used to be scared to wear a classic nude lip. I was convinced that that pale shade would completely wash me out. But through the last couple years, I learned that there are in fact DIFFERENT shades of “nude”, not just the classic one-dimensional beige shade.

I’ve done several posts like this one before, so I guess this is a bit of an update. So without further ado…today I’m sharing my FAVORITE nude and natural lip colors for summer! Let’s get started…

IMG-2363

Up first, we have the Too Faced Peach Kiss LongWear Lipstick in Sunday Funday. I’d describe this shade as a muted terra cotta peach. Very Unique! These lipsticks have a matte finish, but apply very smoothly. I’ve found that Sunday Funday pairs nicely with a classic smokey eye. It gives your lips that perfect nude without taking away from a dramatic eye look. Plus, Sunday Funday is a wearable, everyday shade. Best of all, it smells like homemade peach ice cream. Childhood nostalgia at its best! {$21; sephora exclusive}

IMG-2364

The NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams pretty much started the liquid lipstick revolution. I remember purchasing my first tube four years ago. Every cosmetic brand came up with their own innovative version, so these got pushed to the back of my collection. However, I rediscovered their greatness a couple weeks ago by buying the shade London. This is your classic, beige-based nude with a hint of pink. The texture of London feels like whipped velvet. It applies evenly and isn’t the least bit patchy. The staying power isn’t impressive, but I recommend layering it with another lip color if you want to improve longevity. Sunday Funday is a great lipstick to pair with London. Needless to say, London is worth the purchase. If nothing else, you’ll love the subtle cake batter scent! {$7; ulta}

IMG-2365

And now, for my favorite drugstore lipstick! This is the Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipstick in 02 Perfect Match. Everything about this shade/product is absolute perfection! The shade is a classic mauve; not too pink or too purple. It’s that “your lips but better” shade. The texture is smooth and buttery without being too creamy; this allows satisfactory staying power. Best of all; it costs a mere $4. You just can’t beat it! I buy multiple tubes at a time. You HAVE to check this one out! {$4; ulta}

IMG-2366

Last but not least…Buxom Full-On Lip Cream in White Russian is the Mona Lisa of all lip glosses. It’s a classic, and will be for years to come. I never knew this nude-pink shade was so stunning until I tried it for myself. A year later, I’m on my second tube! It takes ANY lip color to the NEXT LEVEL and just makes your lips POP and look so full and pretty. The texture is perfect; so soft and shiny. It has a slight cooling sensation that isn’t distracting at all. If you don’t buy anything else from my recommendations, I encourage you to buy a tube of White Russian for yourself. It is universally flattering and worth the higher price. Go get it! {$20; Sephora or Ulta}

SUMMER Makeup Kit | 2018

The last thing you wanna wear during the summer are layers upon layers of makeup. So uncomfortable! Today, I thought I would share with you all the perfect makeup to wear this summer. All formulas are comfortable and easy to wear. Let’s get started!

IMG-2316

Wearing traditional foundation during warm temperatures is just about as comfortable as wearing Uggs on the beach! If you still want light to moderate coverage for your complexion without the foundation feel, I highly recommend the It Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream.

I first had this product in my collection years ago, and I was head over heels for it! This stuff is truly magic in a pot. Great things come in small packages, for sure. When I apply this cream, I prep my skin with moisturizer and primer like usual. I use it solely as foundation. The texture is truly weightless and seamless. I recommend applying with your fingers; I have tried with a brush and it took a while to blend. That being said, I still have to try with a sponge…

To ensure this correcting cream stays in place, I set it with a little powder. I’m serious–you will NOT regret purchasing this product! It may seem a bit expensive, but one pot will carry you through the summer and beyond. I forgot how much I loved it! It truly looks like your natural skin–just perfected. {$32; Sephora or QVC}

IMG-2318

There’s nothing prettier in the summer than a soft, sunset-inspired eye look. Packing multiple eyeshadows for travel isn’t really ideal, is it? Luckily, the new Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette is a one-stop shop; it has everything you could ever want in a palette!

The shimmering shades are absolutely stunning, and the matte ones are so versatile as well. The formula is powdery with quite a bit of kick-up, but each shadow blends so well; even the darker ones! Not one shadow is patchy. You can definitely achieve a simple, everyday look or a more dramatic look for a night out! Nonetheless, the Soft Glam Palette is a winner! Glad I have it in my collection. {$42; Sephora or Ulta}

IMG-2317

Within the past year or so I have become a highlighter hoarder. I just cannot help it! A good highlight just brings so much light and glowiness to my face. The Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Highlighter isn’t for the faint of heart, but is so stunning!

I would describe it as a beige-champagne color. It is on the shimmery side, but the particles are so fine that this highlight doesn’t look chunky or patchy on the tops of my cheekbones. The formula is powdery yet smooth; it doesn’t look heavy or greasy. If you wanna fake that sunkissed look, definitely pair this with your favorite bronzer. You will shine to the high heavens.  {$28; Sephora or Ulta}

IMG-2315

This lip combo has been EVERYTHING to me lately! There’s nothing more chic than a nude lip in the summer. One favorites is the Too Faced Peach Kiss Moisture Matte Lipstick in Sunday Funday. This shade is just a classic, peachy nude. The formula is obviously matte, but it glides on smoothly and doesn’t dry my lips out. Plus, it smells like peach ice cream! I also love how elegant and high quality the packaging is. {$21; Sephora}

To add more dimension and shine, I layer Sunday Funday with the Buxom Full On Lip Cream in White Russian. Again, WR is that classic pinky nude gloss you’ve always searched for. I’m on my second tube and will NEVER be without! {$20; Sephora or Ulta}
